Voice & Microphone Privacy

  • Microphone Access: The app accesses the microphone only when the user explicitly taps the microphone button. No background audio recording or passive listening is performed.
  • Transmission & Processing: Captured audio is securely transmitted over HTTPS via our backend proxy to Microsoft Azure Speech Services for real-time speech-to-text transcription.
  • No Retention: Raw audio data is processed transiently in memory and is not stored, saved, or retained on our servers.
  • User Confirmation: Transcribed text is presented to the user for confirmation or editing before being submitted to the AI assistant.
  • Non-blocking Fallback: Standard text input is always available. Denying microphone permission does not restrict access to the text chat features.

Google Analytics & Cookie Consent

  • We use Google Analytics with Google Consent Mode v2 (Basic mode) to understand how visitors interact with our website.
  • Purpose: To analyze website traffic, optimize page performance, and improve the user experience.
